Sleep Apnea Treatment Options

We offer a variety of oral appliance treatment options for obstructive sleep apnea patients who have been determined to be good candidates for this kind of therapy. Whether or not this is appropriate for you will be based on Dr. Reardon’s in-depth assessment of your case and a discussion with you about your goals and preferences.

Many people assume that the only treatment for obstructive sleep apnea is a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine and mask. While it may prove effective for some, many patients find CPAP therapy cumbersome, inconvenient, and awkward. Studies have shown that patients treated with oral appliance therapy are far more likely to stay with it and be treated successfully than those who are treated with CPAP.
