Implant Placement and Surgical Grafting

When a patient requires single or multiple tooth replacement(s), it is often necessary to prepare the surgical site with bone grafting. With the advantage of cone beam technology, Dr. Gayle Reardon, the only Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist in our region, is able to accurately anticipate the grafting needs for any given surgical site. In some cases, the grafting must be done prior to implant placement. In other cases, grafting is done at the same time as dental implant placement in one surgical appointment.

Implant Supported Partials and Dentures

Implant supported dentures are a wonderful solution to ill-fitting traditional complete dentures. In fact, the desire of a patient to replace poorly retained lower full dentures and/or partial dentures are the most common reasons for patients to pursue dental implants. Implant retained dentures are the next best thing to natural teeth.

Implant Supported Crowns and Bridges

Traditional tooth borne bridges have been a solution to missing teeth for decades. However, when you look at statistics, 75% of fixed tooth-borne bridges are successful over a period of fifteen years while 98% of implants are successful over the same period.
